A Safe Place to Talk
Kvinno- och Tjejjouren Miranda is a non-profit organization offering support and counselling for those who are, or have been, affected by domestic violence, such as physical, emotional, sexual, or financial harm in a close or intimate relationship. We offer support in Swedish or English. If you need an interpreter for another language, we can arrange a limited number of sessions. If you are looking for longer-term support, we gently encourage you to contact the Social Services in your municipality.
We also offer support for girls aged 12–21, no matter what they want or need to talk about. All our support is free of charge, and you have the right to remain anonymous when reaching out to us.

SUPPORT

We offer support and counselling by phone, via Teams, or in person in Katrineholm or at Åbrogården in Vingåker. In our conversations, we talk about the violence, support you in rebuilding your self-esteem, and help place the responsibility where it belongs, with the person who caused the harm.
STAFF

We are two staff members in our organization. Emelie is on the left and Julia on the right in the picture. We both offer support and counselling. We’re also the ones who answer your calls, emails, and messages on social media, so feel free to reach out, we’re here to listen and help.
